Default gateway laptop that needs wireless access

i have an old gateway solo 5150 laptop. i want to put a wireless network card in it but i dont know if they are universal like a desktop or if i have to get a specific one. hopefully someone will have the answer. thanks in advance

I have NO idea about this company-- but it looks like you CAN go wireless pretty easily.

thanks. that helps a lot. i was hoping to get one off of ebay for really cheap if they were universal, but if they arent that isnt a bad price

Ebay can be a good resource-- if you are very familiar with what you need. I would not buy parts from someone (for my 1st time around) without tech support. I am not real familiar with Gateway products-- but you can get ripped off on auction sites if you're not careful.

Want good deals/info on companies??
