Default network card problems

Hiya, ive got 2 pc's in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs one is the one with the wireless network card in it. The make and model of the card is Asus WL-138g. it has been working fine untill today when the pc was turned on, the pc is not recognising that the card is inserted. There have been no changes to the pc since it was last working (last night), i have opened up the pc and checked that the card is inserted properly and it is but when i rebooted it still says it is not recognised. I have the latest drivers and software for it so i am a bit stumped as to what the problem is! Even though i dont think it would cause the current problem, i feel i should tell you that there has been no change with the router settings or anything like that. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

First thought is for you to remove the software and drivers for the card in add/remove programs and then re-install it all again..let's start there

Hey smokeycheech!
Would you be able to get the card in another PCI slot?

That's a shame.
It it possible that your ethernet card simply came loose.
Are there any LEDs on?
Would you be able to test the card in another PC?
