Default [Resolved] d-link wireless with direcway modem setup

Hello guys i went to comp usa today and was highly recomended to buy the d link wireless gamer router to use with my new xbox 360 i also purchased the xbox 360 wireless usb adapter they at comp usa said they would work flawlessly together so here i amgot it connected to my pc but the ip on the router is the same as my direcway modem 192.168.0.1 the direcway and the dlink are butting heads i can get the d link page up by typing the ip address in but the internet connection isnt comming through . can you guys help with this Thanks .

Hey, why can't you just adjust the IP on the gamer router to, say, 192.168.0.2?

That is exactly what you need to do, faithbuilder.
Unplug the router from the modem. With the PC connected to the router log into the router normally then change and save the IP address. Make sure you write down the new IP.

Thanks guys ,i called tech support for my router and he had to patch me into tech advanced support and we gotter goin my x-box 360 is running full course this 360 is awesome to say the least just as PC-Help fourum is just plumb awsome .Thanks again Hengis you never fail to come through .:hello2:

Well kinda but its complicated i was sent to two different techies they had me do it on another pc on my network and it was hard to follow they had me change the ip address several times on my router until one finally worked to explain it i would have to have a drawn step by step map I'm not sure if they know what they did, sorry ,thats why I'm so thankful for smart people like you guys Thanks .
