:-) Hi Patti,

It is certainly exciting that you are starting a new business and have the forthought to know you are going to need to be up to date.

Where are you located, perhaps we can direct you to a reputable dealer that could help you find a used laptop of good quality that would give you what you need?

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

HI T,

I am in Northern California (Redding) about 2 hours north of Sacramento. If you happen to know of someone good, I can always use a tip .

Thankyou!

:-)Patti

:-D I just came up with what could be the perfect solution for you.

You're close enough to Ashland to contact the college and see if they have used laptops for sale. (they are usually in resonably good condition.)

Since you will be going all over, and will never be really sure about a Wi-Fi connection. Why don't you use a cell phone as a dialup connector. The chances of you having wireless phone service is greater than Wi-Fi at this point. Do a little research, I know that for example, Verizon has an excellent across america coverage plan.

This would also allow you to get a less expensive laptop, because all you would need is a modem.

Think about it.

Ah, A fellow Californian! Great. I love Marin. I grew up in Sonoma County.

I really apprecaite any advice I can muster. I t may be a little time befoire I can get into a laptop, but I will need to know who is reputible when I do it.

:-) Patti

Just catching up from the last reply. Sounds great! I will check on it. It certainly sounds simpler to use my cel to connect. I will make some calls and see what they say. I have Cingular now, but am flexible if it is a better deal to use with wireless internet. We could catch a play if I wnet up to Ashland- bonus !

Thanks, T!

Patti
