kinda messed up, plugged in my new linksys pci card in to an ME box booted up, put in the driver cd.... nothing, kept asking for drivers, read the instructions, it says to install software first for ME, doh!

tried uninstalling software, taking the card out, re booting up, installing software then adding card, still nothing.... any ideas?

What model Linksys do you have?

EDIT: No matter, here's what I would do....

1) Switch off + remove the PCI card
2) Re-boot and make sure that the the device has gone from the "Devices" list
3) Follow the correct proceedure for Wi-Fi card installation ie: Install software BEFORE hardware! :roll:

Tried that, and every combination known to man, model of card is wmp54g, have decided to just get rid of windows me, i really dislike that o/s!

tried it on xp and was up and running in under 5 minutes, why on earth did they bring out ME????
