This is a broad question..I currently have a paid version of AVG anti-virus on 2 laptops ( XP Home and Windows7)
They keep increasing the price each year!

I am open to suggestions for a good security system. I have heard good reports about Kasperski. The Windows 7 laptop is used for my business so I would need a really good protection. My wife's laptop XP Home may not need as
much protection as she only uses it mainly for sending emails and using Word and general browsing on a small scale.

Thanks, any iput would be gratefully appreciated.

    HI Petethepop,
The Antivirus programs most recommended here on PCHF are Microsoft Security Essentials and Avast Free, Both work well and are free to use.
Either of these coupled with Windows Firewall should serve you well.
I personally use MSE on both Win 7 and XP.
