Hey Y'all

Me again.

I just realized that my PC Company cheaped out on my & sent me Nero 6 instead of 7.

Well for right now no big deal ,when I can muster up the funds Ill do the upgrade but until then how do I get the options of using Microsoft's window & fax viewer?

Now it goes to this Nero express photo stuff & I cant find the folder I need to put my pictures into

It does NOT give me any options like I had before & the Tech Rep all he can do is to tell me to un install that whole program

Can I get the prompt back when I hook my camera up that asks me if I want to use this, that ,or the other thing?

I still want to be able to use the NERO but just not to down load the photo's from the camera

Hya SL.

That should be easy to fix , rightclick on a picture and select "open with" , then select the "windows picture and fax viewer" and make sure the option to "always use that program..." is ticked and press ok.

Hi slowride66, a little something about nero 7. The noly extra features nero 7 offers compared to nero6 are a better looking/resoruce consuming, interface and a sort of media center clone.Nero 7 is about 300 megs full install while nero 6 is only around 100megs. Aside from the size, nero7 also uses much more resources comapred to nero 6. So I don't know what you're using nero for, but when you only use the burning feature and/or nero vision express I'd stick with nero 6 if I were you and save some money,

Thanks btal man Ill keep that in mind when & if I get to it right now I'm really getting ****ED Ive wasted a whole year with this NTI junk to find out that it was a 30 program & NOW I cant even down load my damn photos!!!

I tried what you said but it still wants the Nero 1st & I don't know how or want to know how to navigate this stupid program

I'm about to un install the whole damn thing & throw it outside!

Does this help/work?

1. Open Nero PhotoShow Elite.
2. Click on the "Options" button in the lower right hand corner.
3. Under the "Start Nero PhotoShow Elite automatically when..." uncheck the "a camera or media card is connected" box.

OK I dont have the "elite Its express but I did get it to stop going there .
but now when I put the camera in the cradle I still don't get the window & fax viewer window now what do I need to do?
