Nice to be back here, Hope everyone is kool!!

My problem is my sister was removing loads of programs and files (cleaning up old rubbish) off of her old laptop which is a Toshiba Equium M70 running xp home.

One of the programs she deleted asked her to reboot which she did and when the old dog restarted it says "ntldr missing, press ctrl alt del to restart"<<<<which does nothing just goes back to this.


Ive pressed F12 and gone into last good setting but dosnt seem to change anything. She also hasnt added and hardware recently or has any other devices attached like memory cards etc

We haven't got the original disc :-( which im betting your gonna tell me i need.
But i was looking online and it seems some people say that this can be recovered without loosing her millions of work she has on there????

is this possible?

Have a good reading (I did)

Simple "ntldr is missing" fix with boot floppy, CD-R, or USB flash
