Default Shift p does not type a capital p

The combination shift +p does not type a capital. Nothing happens, not even a space. I have connected another keyboard and the same thing happens, so it cannot be in the keyboard. One is connected to USB, the other is wireless. Every other key combination works and every other capital works. The only way I can get a capital "p" is to use the caps lock key. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

The keyboards you have used did you install any software and drivers that maybe required for them to work correctly?

As an example : Logitech keyboards and mice require a software install so they can be set up correctly.

They're both Logitec keyboards and I reinstalled the software without any change

Did you try the Logitech software and assign keys section?

I would look through the settings in the software.

Shift P is a normal keystroke function, and do not require special drivers to achieve this.

Try a USB or PS/2 keyboard to see if they will work for you...
