Windows XP/2000 - XP restarts at begining of install?! posted in the Operating Systems forums; These guys seem to have covered pretty much everything, you COULD try getting a new BIOS chip? Otherwise im pretty sure it's a fried motherboard...

LOL its kinda orange-ish I guess?

The mobo is an ECS mobo, model L4S5A/DX

Doin a little research on it, still stuck. Guess I could flash the BIOS, but its always a last resort because I don't want to ruin the mobo if it's not bad.

Still open to ideas, thanks everyone

HD is WD120Gb Caviar. It's not the hd tho cause I ran it in 2 other systems to make sure.

I don't mean to be ungrateful, but does the xp disk really matter? I am beyond the hard drive being the issue, at that point the xp version becomes moot.
