Hello
when it crashed was it in windows? Maybe best to test it with a boot disk to confirm it's working

May be I don't explain It correctly whenever I use the " A" drive the computer shut down and I have to restart it , I don't have a boot disk , Can I make one. Any floppy disk I use I get the same result and these disk are disks that I save things on.

Shut the pc down, slide the side off the pc and temporarily remove the small white power connector from the floppy drive as show in this picture. http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/floppy.jpg Then reboot and tell us what happens then.

I disconnect the "A" drive and reboot the pc the only difference I notice is that the " A " drive is not showing in my computer .
I also took out the " A " drive and put in another computer and it work perfect . |

This then may be a faulty floppy ribbon cable or the connector on the board.
