Im trying to do a repair install on windows XP home edition, I have got a burned windows home edition disk (sp3) from a computer shop as I have lost the original disk.
I have tried booting from the disk, and the "welcome to setup" message appears and when I go on "to setup windows XP now, press enter" I get this error message.
Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program. Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.
any ideas about what is causing this / how to solve it, I don't know what the hell to do.

Hello and welcome to PCHF
When the setup starts, on the bottom there is a message "Press F6..." From what you describe, windows needs some drivers to see the HDD that is installed (is it?) in your system. What type of system is it? What motherboard do you have?
