Default Memory problem!

I compressed my files inb my "c"drive a while ago to save space, then i got an external hard drive and put all of my programs, music, videos etc onto it and then deleted everything on my computer, then did a system restore to try clean and speed it up,so when it restored,i still had my "c" drive copressed with all the "memroy" still there,so my comp is still really slow, ive gone through most of the files, using the mouse hovering over the file it tells me how much memory is being used, but theres no files with any huge amount(150gigs) of memory,so i duno whats wrongs, any help would be greate!

Hello there,a little more information would help.

How large is your hard drive?

How much free space do you have left?

After system restore did the deleted files return?

How much RAM do you have installed?

Was it slow before you deleted the files?

Was it any faster after you deleted them?

Etc etc.
