Hello all I have a t 43 lenovo i made the mistake of loading a dell rescue disk
I got most of it put pack together by my problem is with my wirelessI can \get it to connect at my house but when i go to my girls home it sees the net work but will not connect. the wep key is correct and so ar the settings the router is a net gear. I can connect on my ibm sl500 my head is srarting to hurt from banging it into the wall anyone have any help on this i installed the and uninstalled the drivers about 5 times.and disabled and re enable the intel card about 5 times. the message i get is detecting network type then it comes back refresh wireless list please help out of answers

First have you tried wired to see if it would work? I will open this thread this so our Tech's can address your problem as soon as possible...

yes i did do a hard connection and it worked fine the router found the mac address so i am really baffled?

Whether XP or Vista you'll find a list of "connections" in the network area.
Delete the one that your trying to connect to. Reboot & try again

To be clear it works at your house but not at your girlfriends.
XP or Vista or ? I'll now go for Firewall problem. What have you got running?
