Default Accidently installed Win XP on my hdd

I was fixing my moms pc with mine and i plugged in her hdd and installed windows and about half way threw the installation i kept getting errors and what not. Turned out her hdd was fried and nothing was benig saved to it and it all went to mine, so when i boot up my pc instead of having the options to run:
Windows XP Media Center Edition
HP Recovery System

I Have:
Windows XP
Windows XP
Windows XP Media Center Edition
HP Recovery System

And i have to scroll to media center edition and hit enter. Please help me take off that partial install so i dont have to bother
