i have now a huge problem with my fujitsu siemens lifebook s7020d laptop running xp profedsional. Im planning of buying new windows 7 enabled laptop but first after the current one is totaly damaged by hardware. Now problem which i have is that a wile ago the message fail to load boot.ini loding from c/windows. Now i dont have a recovery cd so i didnt do anything. Than i got after some time blue screen of death 0x00000001a i think it was icq.lock etc something, symtoms of boot.ini failer. I resolved this simply by starting safemode because i dont have recovery cd. Now i have some importent files on my laptop and some firmware files with some programs as some educational materials. This laptop was given to me as for eductional studys so i didnt care if system was original or not. I had some problems now an than but i downloaded som programs to maintain os. because it was dry os no programd what so ever. I couldnt download updates directly but i could dowload them thru automatic update. Now i did that in current state with bsodeath by safemode but when i restart it came second blsodeath 0x0000007e (0x80000003, 0x805BA6EC, 0XBACCB330, 0XBACCB02C) now safe mode just freezes on start up cant load past windows loading screen. And normal mode just go into death mode. I now that update is trying to update in normal mode there for is safe mode not working stupid of me. Now what i need is because i dont have no pc just my phone which im using to text this message, i need help to download etheir boot.ini to my phone or all recovery cd and using my phone as removeble device as a boot to fix this issue. I have one recovery cd xp from 2001 sp1 from a pc wile ago but when i boot laptop with that cd it comes to a point when it says cant find harddrive, check harddrive if it is connected or system drivers etc and option for pressing f3 to exit installation. I toth that if it was the same lable as fujitsu siemens it would work but it doesent. I even tried to locate pins for reseting bios but i didnt find nothing. My only solution that i know is to use my phone as boot with boot files because i dont wont to spend money if im buying windows 7 laptop soon but its a shame because this is not hardware failer but only software issue. Second solution is to find from someone propper cd recovery sp2 or sp3 xp pro. Can anybody help me with this issue i know that there is not so many option but is there a file i can use or just a simple boot starter just to recover missing boot.ini file tnx in advance

I would get on to Fujitsu Siemens for some recovery media if you have lost the original or never made any.

tnx for your reply. I never had any recovery cd for this laptop as it was givin to me. The strange thing is that the os is not original but anyway has xp pro certificate label at the bottom which is bisarr that someone who had this laptop before me would try to ilegely install xp pro which this system habe license from the beginning. The laptop was givin to me because i didnt have any pc at that time and i was short of the money. But original or not i can fix the issue as anyone by installing pro again and typing the licence. Now necause im using my mobile phone as only device which i have dor now which is internet enavled. My search for fixing this problem is limited as it is not so fast and i have not so great overview as on standard pc monitor anyway the phone is top of the line so i have 16gigs for downloading any file which would help my laptop. For fujitsu siemens web site help, i didnt understand your point. You meen to download file from theire site. I would be glad if i can get link added as my limited and time consuming issue by the phone browser.

Ok this machine sounds to have had a legitimate copy of XP Professional on it at some time.
Now it has not and the original disk has gone. You need to get a new copy of XP Pro Wallor. By the way your English is most excellent, welcome to the forum.

first of all, sorry for bad spelling, second: im using very small qwerty touch input. To get new copy of xp pro i need to pay i thing around 120 dollars or 100 euro i think. That is just waste of money if im planning to buy windows 7 laptop. If that was the case i would not even post this thread at first place. I need help fixing this problem without buying copy of xp pro and spending money which i can use for paying all new w7 lap. Second if i cant fix this problem without spending some money, can i atleast copy data from this harddrive to new laptop by using some program or additional cable/dockstation somehing. For that i would spend extra money because of the content on hdd.
