OK, try these instructions. It has a download link for tftpboot that includes win pe and tftpd32 which will make things easier. Just to let you know, tftpd32 has to be run on a 32 bit windows installation. If you try it from a 64 bit installation you'll get a bunch of errors and it won't connect to the "broken" computer. There are also some helpful related posts links towards the bottom of the page, especially #2.Option to Install Windows is Grayed Out (when Running Network Install).

how do i find out if my install is 32 bit, or is it a simple setting i can change ?

oh and it says that the link is to install vista ?
or is it the same for both just what program u want comes in on how to at a later point ? |

It's the same for xp as it is for vista. The easiest way to see if you have 32 bit or 64 bit is to look on the c: drive. If you have both program files and program files(x86) it's 64 bit if you only have a program files and no program files(x86) then it's 32 bit.

just thought, ive tryed using my hard drive already and it did the same with that, so does that mean its the motherboard that is no good do u think ?
