In your your case, print the webpage out, and keep it beside you when you change them back to the default settings.

When you have them back to normal, then you can turn off the unneeded services from BV's guide...

THANK YOU! This is exactly what I needed. I turned everything back on that's on in standard mode. Restarted, and bam, printer, speakers all of it working again. Even the fan in the cpu tower stopped spinning all the time! About 95% of those that should have been on (either manual or automatic) were off. Why would that happen? Was it a bug?

I'm just curious to know how it happened and why. So weird.

Anyway, thank you, that was resolved and it is all better now!

Glad we could help its never easy to say what caused it but normally the main things are heat, HD faults, turning off pc while its writing to to disk. virus/malware

Hard to say what could have disabled them though...
