Hello STROMBY and welcome to PCHF,

So you cannot access safe mode but you can access the BIOS?

Regards, Clever_Duck

Hello STROMBY. It sounds like your PC is overheating. But pinpointing it is hard. Do you have any thermal grease? If you do, take some and remove the CPU and/or the heatsink and apply some around the bottom. Then put it back on. But before you do that, take some rubbing alcohol and use it on the old thermal grease. That'll get rid of any old grease. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, then maybe we can work something else out. But then again, it might not be overheating. It could be corrupted system files, a virus, etc. Let's get some more input before deciding.

Hello Stromby

Do you still require assistance? An update will be appreciated.
