Please help, my keyboard gets all weird after the computer wakes up from sleep or hibernation. It's hard to explain or understand exactly what is happening, but when I press certain keys, it will not type the letter I pressed, but rather something completely different. This applies to at least half of the keys, preventing me from typing in my password and loading the system back up. This forces me to restart the computer. Rebooting brings everything back to normal. This problem occurs everytime the computer goes into sleep or hibernate, without exception.
Please help, I would highly appreciate it!
I'm on Windows XP SP3, Compaq presario v3000 laptop

There has been enough debate on whether to sleep or shutdown to make War and Peace look like a paperback.
I always do a full shutdown and you could have a look in Power Options in control panel and make sure all are set to turn off = Never.

Hmm, this is very odd....Like above I also recommend every thing said.
When did this problem occur? Did you change any settings? Thanks
