I currently have XP Pro. How much of an upgrade can I do and not have trouble with the COA, activation, and any thing else microsoft related. I want a new motherboard and cpu. Is this possible without getting a new OS? Thanks

Hi zeusoid, It's possible to upgrade your pc without having all that hassle of activations etc.
exactly how to get there I'm not altogether certain so I'll mark this as Open which should encourage those who know to respond. Thanks for your patience |

You can add new hardware every 120 days, as the hardware activation clock resets after this period of time...
