Ok so the other day I was surfing the net and suddenly something looked funny on my computer. The reds and oranges where extremly bright and I had lines galore on it. Like right now from at the end of every line (on the left and right) I see light gray lines going out to the sides of the screen. And where is says "Post new thread" above and where it has "USER CP, etc, etc," those grayish mine go out from the ends of the blue there too. I watch stuff on hulu and youtube and the videos play fine, but Im worried its something more then the monitor. How can I figure this out?

So if you watch the videos in full screen there's no lines?

Seems like a bad connection to the PC/monitor.
This could be either bent pins on the VGA cable or just a loose cable (this can happen if you don't screw the connectors in place). It could also be your graphics drivers. To see if that is the case do the following: Restart PC Press F5 repeatedly Select Enable VGA Mode If the problem goes away then the problem is your graphics card drivers. Uninstall them from the Add/Remove Programs and install new ones. |
