I recently added some new fonts to my XP Pro system by dragging and dropping them into the c:\windows\fonts folder. The next morning I noticed that several screens giving status of various software installations, as well as the eula text was HUGE.. somewhere around 35 or 40 point. This is not the case with all system windows, just an apparent select few. I noticed it first while running Superantispyware, and then found it several more times during the day. I have looked everywhere I can think of for a configuration for the system fonts, but with no luck. Has anyone else seen this, and can tell me how to fix it. (I thought about restore points, but I have installed several pieces of software since this happened and I would really rather not have to go through all that again if I can help it.)

System restore will be your best bet, back to before you had the problem.

Or you can put your Win XP cd into the drive and from Run / Start use the sfc /scannow command.

This will take a little while, as it does it's thing...
