Hello, unsure if I am in the correct section however, I do need help.

We, have just bought a Toshiba Satelite pro laptop and had XP business downgrade installed.
We have an Epson DX4850 printer / scanner which is working fine on my wifes laptop and the download of updated drivers from Epson to the Toshiba is allowing me to print fine. No matter what I do however, the Toshiba computer does not recoginse the built in scanner.
Have deinstalled and reinstalled twice.
Any advice please?

I'm not sure on a fix, but if the laptop is built for Vista, there could be problems.

I have a Dell XPS, and it is a b**** to downgrade to XP.
People have problems with the multimedia bar, the finger scanner, the list goes on.

That could be a reason for your problem
