Question Folder not working properly

I've noticed an error with my folder type thats becoming a problem.

Basically, whenever i try to double click the file, it will open a "search" of that file. Open is still on the right click menu, but its not default.

If i go to Folder in file types in the control panel, it says the default action is "Find" with no option of setting it to "open" or even "explore".

Basically, nothing i've tried has worked, but i don't think i've been doing the right thing. Can anyone point out what needs to be done to reset this?

Thanks.

Hello FoxTrotZero!

You're close

Folder Options -> File Types -> Folder -> Advanced button -> you should have "explore" and "open" as options there. If not add them as "NEW" options and set OPEN to the Default.

I hope this helps!

Thats the problem.

Theres Folder and File Folder. Folder has Explore and Open. File Folder has all the other **** (I currently find it stuck at Open Media with VLC Media Player).

I'll double check.
