Its nothing new.
I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition, and I was wondering if i can make my XP appear like Vista.
The only problem is, I don't want it to go all out, and I don't want my system screwed. I just want my windows themselves to have the streamlined Aero look.
I don't even want the transparent "glass" look. Is there a program that allows various parts of the Aero configuration to be used instead of Luna?
I already run Rainmeter, so i'm not afraid of customization, but i only want something specific. Does anyone know how I can do this.
And once more on emphasis - I only want an Aero style. Theres a reason i run XP.

Try Trans Bar, this will give the task bar transparency. It's free as well...
.:AKSoftware:. Here's a screen shot of the transparent taskbar here... http://www.pchelpforum.com/lounge/46...tml#post396730

Thanks.
But i'm looking to change the style of the windows themselves. I don't want anything to be transparent. Also, i would like if theres a way to get a Vista Taskbar. Once again, is there a program that will change certain aspects of my display from Luna to Aero? |

You will need the Vista Transformation Pack to change the look of the gui.
You have a certain amount of choice in what get installed as well...
