hi,
i searched the forum and found another link with a similar problem, but i open up a new one for a better overview.

i recently added some users and they all have the same problem:
no application can play sounds except winamp.
if i, though, execute a program as the "Administrator", it works.
if i execute as a different user with administrative rights, it doesn't work.
if i load the mixer (soundmax) manually to see if it works it says "digital output is taken by another application"
if i execute the mixer as the user administrator it works though.
tried reinstalling the mixer as the other user with administrative rights, doesn't work.

any suggestions?
