Hi, trying to connect a pc (xp) to a pc (vista) through a network ?

Tried to use the cmd and ip address but no connection.

Is there a more simple way of connecting them together and i also wanted to know how can i control the other pc through my other pc without me moving to the other pc.

There must be a simple command or is remote assistance the only way.

Hey there parklife. I use a program called Realvnc. Basically u install realvnc on both pc. You set one pc to be the client and one pc to be the server.

This allows you to fully control the other pc. This is a little tricky to setup tho. It is free. RealVNC - VNC Free Edition 4.1

Heres a well known paid one but has a free trial i believe, never used it but gets great reviews. You most likely have seen the TV commercial for it!
