Nevermind that. Totally different.
See, I have the Xbox hooked up DIRECTLY to my computer. I mean the A/V cables.
There is no way to do this through media center. I don't want to share files or set up a network.
What I want to do is have the Audio Video Signal being input to my computer Picked Up and Displayed on my monitor. Is there any way this can be done?

A dvi to hdmi cable comes to mind, it would probably work. I don't have a Xbox so I would not know.
It seems a pointless excercise when you will get better results from a HD widescreen lcd television. That's what I would be using rather than a computer monitor...

The point isn't quality. I don't own an HDTV. Its convienence, and my monitor is actually probably better quality than my Rear Projection TV.
Like I said, I would like it to run through the computer. I don't have any money to be buying cables. The whole thing is a stretch, i know. |

I can't help you anymore mate. I have given you help with links to a software solution and a possible cable solution which can be purchased for Aus $20.00
If you do not have any money for cables etc. get a part time job to help pay for it..

I'm sorry FoxtrotZero, but I believe that Arctos has provided the best answer possible. The solution that you want isn't available - to our knowledge.
If you locate it, please come back and update so others searching for the same thing might benefit.
