Hi im having problems with several computers in an ICT Suite. They all run XP Pro sp3 and log onto a domain server running windows 2000. Suddenly several computers dont appear to be logging on properly. There is no desktop or toolbars (start menu etc) being loaded it just appears blank blue. This happens when logging onto the domain or locally to the machine. and it does the same thing when trying to log on in safe mode!!
This happened to one computer and suddenly appears to be doing it on about 7 computers now.....cant understand it. can anyone help?
Many Thanks

Just to add I have a feeling its a registry problem so I managed to run a regcure program on one of the "problem" computers and the next time it booted up it did load the desktop however everything was a corrupt, no programs worked etc.. so I ended up reinstalling the os but dont wanna have to do this on them all!

Hi
What AV and anti-malware protection are you using on that suite? Is it up to date?

I think you owe it to yourself to at least select one of the PC's to run Malwarebytes on...that way you can be more sure that it really isn't related to malware.
