My daughter put a password on her laptop and cant remember what it is. I downloaded a disk to remove the password from here and now I can't get past the "welcome to windows" screen even in safe mode. I don't have the origional OS software either.

Did you try to boot from this disk? Also can you borrow an OS from somebody? At least until a Tech and or other member can address your problem..........thanks for your patience
