Default cd/dvd drives have changed

I have 2 dvd drives. One main one and one for burning. The main one that I use has always been drive I. The one I use for burning has always been drive H. Now for some reason that has changed. The main one is now drive E and the one for burning is now drive D. They still work ok but why would they change?

Ok thanks for that, please try the below.
1. Click start, settings, control panel
2. In the Control Panel window, open Administrative Tools. (if you can't see Admin Tools, please click on the link to the left of the pane and pick Switch to Classic View.
3. In Admin Tools, open Computer Management
4. Locate the Disk Management option on the left and left-click on it.
If the Disk Management option is not visible, look under the Storage option by clicking the + next to the word Storage.
5. On the right-hand side of the screen, locate and right-click on one of the DVD drives and then Change Drive Letter and Paths.
6. Click on the Change button.
7. Pick the Drive letter ( pick the letter it used to be), click Ok.
8. Press Yes at the diolog box warning about changing drive letters.
9. Now repeat the above for the other drive.
10. close Admin Tools, all done.
