Default Some program parts orange after mod. sys pref

I was messing around with my system preferences last night, and somehow I turned one or more parts of programs orange. For example:

Above: in Firefox, Paint.NET, and on Start menu > All Programs

I believe that all the orange parts should be gray, but I'm not positive.

I looked all over Display Properties > Appearance tab > Advanced, but none of the menu items contains any option that is set to an orange color.

What should I do?

Thanks.

If it's not too troublesome, can you give us a general idea of the steps you took to modify these? If you can, then we can work from there... Thanks!

Hi there,

Try right clicking on the desktop > properties > themes > select Windows Classic and "apply" > then, select Windows XP theme and "apply"

Any change?

I think I was just working in Display Properties, but I don't remember exactly what I was doing. I apologize.

Just now, however, I went in to Display Properties and changed the Theme back to Windows XP (used to be Windows XP (Modified)), and the problem appears to be solved.

So I guess I don't need any help anymore. :-( I'm sorry.

Thank you everyone for your help!
