Hi , I'm back again.
A certain friend of myn sold me a Windows XP OS CD , with the key and disk, I installed it about june last year, and since its working fine.
Today I turn on my PC and out of the blue 'Windows Genuine Advantage' thing comes up , I immediately reconise it and well I go straight to my friend.
He gave me my money back m and with that I am buying a new Seriel code, one problem , How would I update my OS to make it genuine again with this new Seriel code?
P.S. Before this incident I downloaded Service pack 3 and it said my OS key was Genuine.
Just A side message: I do NOT support piracy or illegal use , my friend printed of a xp sticker and applied to a cd , and he 'hoped' I wouldnt notice , I did today.

Sorry but it does'nt seem to work...
I type in my nwe key and keeps saying its not valid.

This time it does'nt say incorrect key , but it says cannot connect due to connectivity issues, I can connect and youtube watching videos , so I don't understand? Thanks.

Choose activate via phone it is a free toll number.
However some times you need to retry a few times when trying to connect over the internet to activate.
