Default General question about making unattended cd

Hi all,

this is my first post here so i dont know if this is the best place to ask.My question is if there s a way to embed a legit product key from a greek windows xp to english one in order to make unattended cd.

I use nLite to make slipstreamed / unattended install disks. It's a simple process as long as you follow the instructions from the nLite website...

nLite - Deployment Tool for the bootable Unattended Windows installation

Yes ,i m familiar with the prog.But i m not sure if a greek windows xp vlk can be used and be embeddedin an english cd during nLite's process >or this question is wrong anyways.What i have is a greek windows xp pro vlk which i have bought,and a downloaded english xp pro version.I only have the vl key for my greek windows cd and i don;t even know if embeding it to an english version is legal.Will it work and how?

You can use the Greek one one to make a unattended disk,

I cannot help you with the English one though, as it is a downloaded warez version.

Nic01 is asking if a greek S/N can be used with an english version.

The answer is no. License keys have encoded what version of windows it is for. That goes as far as including the version (pro, home, etc) as well as the language. It doesn't include which servicepack, but a key can be banned in a servicepack if it has been found to be an illegal key.
