i am on my laptop because i cannot connect the internet to my desktop computer because i did a system restore and i epic failed and threw away all my discs and things like that for my drivers and it has a yellow question mark next to my ethernet controller in my device manager can someone plz help me

I have a similiar problem.

My laptop has a network bridge set-up between my wireless and wired connection so that I could hook up my desktop computer with internet, but the wired connection isn't shown in my network connections menu. (on my desktop)

You need to go to the computer manufacturers website under support tab and download your hardware drivers.
