So, like an idiot, I deleted files for a program out of my c:/programfiles folder, before I uninstalled it(I swear that I had). Now the program still shows up in add/remove programs, but when I try to uninstall it, it tells me that it can't remove because it is not installed. How can I get rid of this?

Let's begin by finding out what OS you are running, ok? Several things come up, but not knowing what you are running? We can't help that way. Bad idea. Please let us know which OS, computer (laptop/desktop), make/model, you understand? Nothing sensitive (names, personal) and then we can proceed. Thanks for your patience
