Hello Gunny and welcome to PCHelpForum.

It is supposed to be there. It is telling you that you have USB devices connected to your system.

Items such as a printer, scanner, external hard drive it may even be your modem if it is attached via USB.

This icon is a safetly remove hardware icon.

Lets say you have a USB pen drive or external hard drive connected to your computer this icon is used to safetly help disconnect the external hardware ready for removal so it doesnt get damaged.Damaged could possibly be caused such as corruption to files on and external hard drive as the USB ports use power from the mainboard to function.

If you disconnect all external hardware that is connected via USB ports the icon will dissapear.
