Default Service causing windows to restart

Hi im having a problem with a computer running windows xp sp3. Basically as soon as it loads into windows and the desktop appears the computer restarts. The only way I can get in is through safemode. I then run msconfig and have found that if I disable the "load system services" it starts ok so I need to know what service is causing this can anyone help???

Thanks

Start in safemode, run msconfig > service tab > check the "hide all MS services" box > run thru the services there and un-check any that you don't need. In fact, for diagnostics, turn them all of and re-enable them one by one until Windows boot fails...

You'll only need to do it this once...then "maintain" it roughly once a month

Hi, I have done you what said and disabled all services that appear when you "hide all ms services" and it still restarts. Only when you uncheck the "hide all ms services" and disable all microsoft services will it work! Any Ideas?
