| Windows XP/2000 - shortcuts posted in the Operating Systems forums; After reinstalling XP Pro where as before I could right click and get a dropdown which included,put short cut on desktop,I now dont seem to have this.... |

shortcuts
After reinstalling XP Pro where as before I could right click and get a dropdown which included,put short cut on desktop,I now dont seem to have this.

Did you see it at all after re-installing Windows? Something may have become corrupt - click on "System File Checker" below in my signature.

Ok, just to check, does the right click menu appear on anything else apart from the desktop?

I think I may not of explained this correctly,The list appears on right click okay,It just does not include the short cut to desktop.
