Windows XP/2000 - Computer is very Slow posted in the Operating Systems forums; Lamontc, Please boot into Safe Mode with Networking and try to run the applications again. Safe Mode loads the absolute minimum number of drivers and applications that Windows requires. Thanks!...

Lamontc,

Please boot into Safe Mode with Networking and try to run the applications again. Safe Mode loads the absolute minimum number of drivers and applications that Windows requires.

O.k. when I tried it in Safe Mode as you suggested I got the program to run but when i go back to regular mode I cant accesss the log because the pc wont let me.100% usage

You should be able to work with me in Safe Mode with Networking. It sounds like there's a good bit of malware to rid the system of before returning to Normal mode.

No, access your Malwarebytes log from within Safe Mode.
