XP Service Pack 2 Download Stops Midway
I have to install XP service pack 2 to run a few programs, but just cannot seem to install it successfully. The installation begins and invariably stops midway with an error message to the effect of "Service Pack 2 installation cannot be completed successfully. Please retry"- or something as general and vague as that. I have always disabled all antiviral/ antimalware programs before commencing installation. Can anyone help, please? Thank you very much.
