Solved: I can only get online in safe mode

I have been given a dimension 5000 which was working fine till I decided to take of AOL so that I could use my broadband provider. Now I can only get online in safe mode. I can ping out. I have tried ip config flush and renew but that has not helped. I have also run winsockfix utility. Any advice would be great.

Please post your system specs at...
Click on User CP
Slide down to Edit Options
then slide down to System Specs.
Also, set the option pulldown to YES.

You can click on the Belarc link in my signature.
Download/run the scan (it's FREE).
It will give you the specs on your computer.

Hi Gandalf, sorry if I am being stupid, I thought what I had posted was the system spec. I am at work now, but I will post the info as soon as I get home. Thanks again for your help.
