My XP boot freezes but it works with Windows 2000
hello im new in here and i have a question!
i tryed to boot my computer from a windows xp home edition but it keeps freezing when i have a choice of "r" recovering, and f3 and it just freezes up. First i thought it was my HDD but then i popped a windows 2000 in the drive and it worked!!! Then i went in the system and tryed to install the xp home edition but it said it does not support xp!!!! do u think it might be the HDD?

also 3gb ram
160gb EIDE it was a windows xp but now nothing integrated gpu |

Please post your system specs at...
Click on User CP Slide down to Edit Options then slide down to System Specs. Also, set the option pulldown to YES. This will help us help you. Thanks... If you want to install XP as the C: drive, recommend you remove any existing partitions, then re-partition as desired.
