Windows XP/2000 - PC Restarts/Reboots posted in the Operating Systems forums; Hello, can sum 1 help me please. My computer keeps restarting sumtimes, i just formatted the PC and it still happens. Im not sure if this is the right place ...

Hello, can sum 1 help me please. My computer keeps restarting sumtimes, i just formatted the PC and it still happens.

Slide down to Edit Options

You can click on the Belarc link in my signature.
Download/run the scan (it's FREE).

If you entered the specs, you left the YES/ON option on NO.
Please set to YES.

Sorry to jump in here but, this could be an overheating issue. Please boot in to Safe Mode With Networking by pressing the F8 key as the computer boots up and:

Download speedfan from this link:
Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

This tool will show you the running temps of your components. Please run it and post back with the results

Sorry, i have checked YES now.

Regarding about the speedfan, i am on Safe Mode With Networkingand i have installed it, but it comes up with an error when i open it. It says "Speedfan has encounted a problemand needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
It says send error report and that.

I have attached the screen shot of the error.

But installing it on normal windows (not safe mode) works and i have included the screen shot of the results as a JPEG file.

I don't know the programm, but that fan on being at 0RPM is very worring. maybe you could open the case (with the PC off and unplugged, and see if the fans are turning.
