I have a blue folder? about 3" wide on the left side of my brothers desktop that just appeared there. I had one on my computer also, but I had to wipe out the hard drive and re-install windows xp he with the help of Dell support. Has anyone seen this, and how can I get rid of it. I will attempt to send a picture if I can figure out how to do it. Rose

Are there any options available when you Right Click on the blue?

Nothing happens when you right click. The Dell support guy was even trying from his end and nothing happened.

This might take me a bit to research. Please be patient. I'll get back to you as soon as I find something. In the meantime, I'm sure that some of our very talented and resourceful members will drop in to offer ideas.

I have never seen a bar like this but it had to come from somewhere, right? No worries - we will find a way to get rid of it (my fingers are crossed) ;-)

Crush (a PCHF staffer) just pointed out that this looks like the blue bar from the left side of the Control Panel. Durned if he isn't right! (bright guy, that Crush!)

Between us (or maybe just him ;-) - we'll get rid of this.....

The folder changes with whatever I am working on at the time.
