Right click on screen/properties/change fonts etc.
Update driver and did you sort out your res?

If the start button looks fuzzy there are a number of reasons for that, one of which is the most common and that your screen is set to a resolution that is outside the optimal resolution for your display.

jb,
I removed my x1950 pro and put back the older fx5500 which will go to correct res. But i dont like the look of the font, But this might be cause i had a 17" non widescreen before

Go into display settings and fiddle a little with font sizes and try bold that can help.Its finding what works.
Also you now have a larger screen.this could be an issue with a combination of larger screen and GPU grade. So try changing fonts to a diffrent style/size and bold may help.
