Default Starting Windows XP

Hey guys, I had an old computer with a hard drive with Windows XP. I have received our family computer and upgraded it with More ram my old graphics card ect. I had anthor hard drive just for games and and stuff, but I placed my hard drive that had Windows on it in my new computer and it isnt loading I can see the windows XP logo for a brief second and then it just restarts and trys loading again, Could anyone please help me with this

First thought can you boot into Safe Mode (by tapping F8 continuously as the PC boots).

If not - Second thought do a repair install from an original XP CD. You may need the CD Key which hopefully is glued on that PC.

iv recently had some experience fixing the sort of issue with my computer.

use your windows installation disk to run recovery console(press R for repair at the setup screen) once its loaded select the correct drive/partition(probly the number 1) and then enter the command "chkdsk/f/r". there cud be a space between chkdsk and /f/r. the f part repairs and replaces any files that are damaged or missing. the r part fixes any bad sectors on the disk and recovers any data from those sectors

oo yea safe mode 1st wud be the best proccess to follow lol
