Hi levi

What is your current graphics card? I can't see it in your systems specifications.

I ran the belarc program and found out alot of my system settings, would this be the name of the graphics card:

MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device

Just a guess at that was in the multimedia section?

Graphics or Display Adapters is what you want. This information is listed if you click Start > Run and type in dxdiag.

Click the Display tab and post the Name: and Manufacturer: information.

I notice that your processor is quite low-end. I assume you bought it from a store? If you could list the name and model number of the PC then we could look up the technical info and advise you better. I get the impression that you would need a new PC though really. The PC model and manufacturer is usually found on the case, at the back and usually on a sticker. eg Packard Bell imedia 1328.

Okay,

Looking at the specs your card is listed as "up to" 64MB of memory.

64MB of onboard memory is quite low. Especially considering that most cards nowadays have 512MB of internal memory. Also AGP is a standard that has been superceded by PCI-E which means that in terms of performance your AGP card is not as "good" as a PCI-E card/slot would be.

Given the age of your system and the low spec I doubt you could upgrade it to anything decent. I'm actually surprised you can play a current game on it. It must be on very low settings?

My advice would be to either build one (not too difficult and usually slightly cheaper if not much cheaper than a store bought PC) or order a custom made one. If you were to buy one in a shop you would probably want to upgrade it in some way. Whether it be a case or install more fans or add more memory etc. And as most PC's I have seen are £400, you can build one from scratch for that price which is better than a store bought one.

Maybe someone else has other advice for you though.
