Hi there I am running a win xp system AMD Athlon(tm) 1.25 GHz 512 of ram
i have 4 slots for ram i currently have to ram sticks of 256 each, is there a limit to how much ram I can put in
for example buying 4 1gb sticks etc

Hello again levi.
I should have mentioned this on your other thread but.... If you could go to the User CP section, then click on Edit Options, then tic the box to allow others to view your system specs, that is a better place to put that system info. That way any post you add will already have the pertinent information in place. If there is any question as to what components you may have, click on the Smilie computer in my signature and use Belarc. It is a free identifying utility. Thanks! |

Hi levi. Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com is a great website. It scans your system and tells you how many slots for ram you have and recommends the ram you should buy
